Our leadership at Colbert Baptist met Sunday, July 26th to discuss how we could possibly take a safe step forward for our people here. With everything going on around us, we are evaluating options for two weeks, meeting again on Sunday, August 9th. Although we are hesitant to just jump right back in to doing the same things, we are ready for more fellowship, discipleship, and community building but it needs to be done as safely as possible. What we are doing on Sunday mornings has worked very well and gone smoothly. We say THANK YOU for your attendance and participation but more importantly we thank you for your cooperation and understanding. Most feel that adding an additional time to Sunday morning right now would potentially lead to losing sight of the details social distance and prevent unnecessary cross-contamination, so while we are all ready for our in-person small group settings (Sunday School, students, kids, Sunday evening discipleship classes) to resume, it might be difficult to do them all. Please take a few minutes with your family and prayerfully review the following questions prayerfully. We would like to hear from as many of our members as possible. Keep in mind that changes made are not all to be permanent, however, if areas are received well, we are open to allowing some parts remain post-COVID.
